It's a very deep commentary. It's mostly technical from the Systematic Theology perspective. The authors concatenates the Romans concepts and unfolds them very carefully. He guides the reader through the pattern that Paul uses to explain the message. Nygren also warns about a "aphoristic" reading of Romans and our "persistent greek way of thinking" in trying to understand Paul. It's a wonderful piece of scholarship that goes deep into the essence of Romans. It's not a piece of cake and requires careful study. The minister will benefit greatly from this book both personally and for preaching/teaching.
