Commentaries I Would Not Do Without

by R. Hansen

I find that I read a lot of commentaries. Many of which I find somewhat helpful but end up reselling on Amazon. There are a some, however, that are so good they end up staying on my shelf and I consult them over and over. That is what this list is. Commentaries I would definitely recommend you own. There will be some books of the Bible that have no entries as I have not done as much study on them, and other with many entries. It also is very diverse with some commentaries being short and devotional while others being longer verse by verse commentaries. Mostly these will be commentaries, however, that are geared for the pastor, Bible study leader, or just average person who really wants to get to know a book of the Bible better. This collection has 38 books in 29 categories.
