Greetings brethren. This Romans commentary by Rob Ventura is invaluable, and I’m confident pastors like me will be relying on it for historic, sound exegesis for a long, long time. I’m halfway through a sequential exposition of Romans at our church, and Ventura’s commentary is already a favorite. The ratio of wheat/chaff is very, very high, so using this commentary week by week has proven to be a very profitable and efficient use of precious study time. If you’re spending too much time separating wheat from chaff in your Romans commentaries, get your hands on this one and prioritize it.
