I used this book as my Bible text while I was completing a ten week in-depth study on the Apostle Paul. The study went through the entire book of Acts and this commentary was very helpful and insightful and really added to my study time. It gave a lot of historical background and context to the Biblical text. I really like the format of this book (and the entire People's Bible series). The full NIV Bible text is included and broken into small sections with commentary provided after each of these sections. This book also included three maps in the back that trace Paul's three mission journeys and his travels to Rome. This was very helpful. I really like the People's Bible Commentary series and I found this book to be particularly well written.
